Smoky Fall Margarita

SMOKY FALL MARGARITA😍

Since we’re all stuck inside anyways, might as well make fancy cocktails at home😋 A smoky, spooky version of a margarita, this will have your taste buds singing all fall long. Smoky notes from Mezcal + crisp apple cider + citrus tang, it’s the perfect cocktail for this holiday season. Recipe for single batch and big batch below!



Serves 1.

Ingredients:

For the Smoky Mezcal Margarita:

  • 2 oz mezcal (I like El Silencio) (¼ cup)

  • 4 oz apple cider (½ cup)

  • 1 oz fresh orange juice

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1 oz Grand Marnier (or similar orange liqueur)

  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup

  • Ice

  • Lime wedges

  • Cinnamon sugar for the rim

  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

“Big Batch” (Serves 4):

  • 1 cup Mezcal

  • 2 cups apple cider

  • ½ cup fresh lime juice

  • ½ cup fresh orange juice

  • ½ cup Grand Marnier

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • Lime wedges

  • Cinnamon sugar for the rim

  • Cinnamon sticks for garnish

Directions:

For the Smoky Fall Margarita:

  • Add mezcal, apple cider, lime juice, orange juice, Grand Marnier, maple syrup and ice to a cocktail shaker.

  • Shake until cold.

  • Line a cocktail glass with cinnamon sugar and fill with ice.

  • Strain the cocktail mixture over the ice, top with a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
