Prosciutto Wrapped Pears with Balsamic Glaze

PROSCIUTTO WRAPPED PEARS WITH BALSAMIC GLAZE😍

Heading to a Friendsgiving and dropped the ball a bit on planning your dish? Don’t be that guy that brings something store bought and make this appetizer in less than 5 minutes!

I do not recommend making this more than an hour or two ahead as the pears may brown and the prosciutto can get hard. It is preferable to whip these up right before serving, and a great way to delegate tasks to the not as great cooks in your family ;)

Serves 4-6 as an appetizer.

Ingredients:

For the Prosciutto Wrapped Pears with Balsamic Glaze:

  • 2 large pears

  • 4 oz package of prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise

  • Balsamic Glaze (you can find this at Trader Joe’s or Vons, or you can also reduce ¼ cup balsamic vinegar and ¼ cup sugar in a saucepan until thick)

Directions:

For the Prosciutto Wrapped Pears with Balsamic Glaze:

  • Cut 2 pears into thin spears leaving the skin on.

  • Wrap with prosciutto and lay onto a serving platter.

  • Drizzle on top with balsamic glaze and serve!
